Finding the Right Lender
Financing your purchase can be one of the most frustrating parts of home buying, unless you have the right lender. If you need to get a loan for a purchase, it’s very smart to use a local lender. They know the market, they know the options and they know what to avoid to get you funded in a timely manner. In the Palm Springs area especially, if you are thinking of buying a property with an Indian Land Lease, you need a lender familiar with those types of sales.
We also recommend, you to get pre-approved, not pre-qualified, with a lender if you will need a loan to buy the home. A buyer has 3 days after an offer is accepted to provide to the seller a pre-approval letter for the loan. It generally takes longer than 3 days to get pre-approved so do the work before hand and have it ready to go when you make the offer.
It is also a good idea to talk to a lender before you start house hunting. A lender can tell you how much house you can afford to buy and what your monthly payments will be.
We do not recommend any one person but if you have questions about loans and financing, we suggest starting with the lenders below. Their websites all have excellent information and if you have more questions, they will be happy to answer them.
